About Friends

Hello and welcome to FRIENDS

Friends of SFIS was set up as a Charity to fundraise for South Farnborough Infant School.  The Friends are made up of parents / guardians of SFIS who work as a Committee to raise money for the school through events and other fundraising activities.

This school year 2016/17 Friends will be raising money to help subsidise school trips through the class cake sales and to help support utilising the additional land that will become part of SFIS when the Linden School vacate in Summer 2017.

We endeavour to make the events interesting and inclusive for the children including Elf Day, Movie Nights, the Summer Fair and Emergency Services Day.

We are always looking for volunteers with fresh ideas and enthusiasm.  Monthly meetings are held at The Squirrel.  If you would like to be involved with the committee please contact us.

If you don't fancy being on the committee but would like to help out at any of the events, please do still get in touch.

A few years ago Class Reps were introduced to help improve communication between parents and the school.  Please click here to see details of your Class Rep.  Class Reps help pass on information about school activities, fundraising and organising events such as the cake sales.

Any questions, suggestions or feedback please contact a member of the Friends committee.
